The North Branch Volunteer Fire Company located at 1169 Route 28 in the North Branch Section of Branchburg and is a 100% Volunteer Organization. The NBVFC operates with a Command Vehicle, 2 Engines, a Heavy Rescue, and a Utility Vehicle. (See Apparatus Section) Our primary response area covers the Northern Section of Branchburg Township and the Western Section of Bridgewater Township in District #3.

Our response area consists of mainly Industry and Residential but also contains many multi-story offices, hotels, shopping centers, and Educational Facilities. The NBVFC is trained and equipped to respond to calls for assistance with Fires, Automatic Fire Alarms, Carbon Monoxide Incidents, Motor-Vehicle Accidents, Medical Emergencey's, Water Hazards, Swift Water Rescue, and Firefighter Assist and Search.

For calls in Bridgewater Township, we are dispatched by the Bridgewater Township Police.  On report of fire or smoke anywhere in District #3, all district companies (North Branch, Green Knoll, Country Hills) will be dispatched.  7 days a week from 6am-6pm we are dual dispatched with Green Knoll Fire Company for calls in both our companies coverage areas.

For calls in Branchburg Township, we are dispatched by the Somerset County Communications Center. North Branch Fire Co. also provides mutual aid for various organizations in Branchburg Twp., Bridgewater Twp., Bedminister Twp., Readington Twp., and Lebanon Boro in Hunterdon County.
